the ULTIMATE Rory's Reading List

While many other book bloggers and literature lovers have compiled lists of every book Rory Gilmore is seen reading in the show Gilmore Girls, I have been rewatching the series with my husband as a sort of celebration of the show's twentieth anniversary and decided to take it upon myself to create the ULTIMATE Rory Reading List.

The plan is to make notes as I rewatch each episode and list the books in order of appearance. Most lists have been sorted alphabetically which is useful if you're doing it as a reading challenge - but I'm interested in seeing Rory's taste in literature grow as she grows. Most gals my age remember growing up with Rory but even if you didn't, I think it might be beneficial to see what she's reading as she goes through different times in her life.

So, I'll be updating this post as I watch and make my lists. I'll sort it by season and episode and I'll include how the book was presented in the episode. (We've watched a handful of episodes from season one already... I'll rewatch those again too. You know, for research purposes!) For now, here's the main list most people seem to use as the complete list of Rory's books, in alphabetical order.

See you soon!
